The Commonwealth
A bio-dynamic campus and demonstration site for urban ecology, human development, and neighborhood development that spans six city blocks on Chicago’s South Side. The Commonwealth is a place where humans come together to learn and practice SWF’s Regenerative Neighborhood Development (RND), an interdisciplinary practice that cultivates community and embodies art, culture, design, and education.
The Communiversity
The Communiversity shares SWF’s practice of Regenerative Neighborhood Development via workshops, courses, residencies, fellowships, and train-the-trainer programs delivered to youth, local residents, organizations, and institutions across Chicago and beyond.
Civic Arts
Cultivating and showcasing local artists of all mediums across The Commonwealth. SWF provides local residents with arts, crafts, and cultural workshops such as the Annual Juneteenth and Harvest Celebrations.
The Marketplace
An emerging social enterprise incubator and marketplace for eco-logical goods and services. SWF cultivates & curates local artists, makers, and youth by providing spaces to create, training & workshops, and collaborative markets.
